Mayberry Cockers consists of 4 relatives; whom all share a great love of Cocker Spaniels.  We have all owned cockers for many years and all agree that anything else is just a dog.  3 of us are located in the foothills of NC, in a small town called Mount Airy.  It is the hometown of the infamous Andy Griffith and is also known as Mayberry.  (Hence the name Mayberry Cockers).  The other one of us has relocated to Jacksonville, FL,  where she too is still breeding Mayberry Cockers.  We get together to breed amongst our Mayberry Cocker Family.

     All of our dogs are AKC registered, as we feel that this is the best Kennel Club for assuring a "true breed".  Our dogs will come with a LIMITED AKC registration (This means your puppy can participate in Agility trials, Obedience, Rally and sporting events, but cannot be bred or shown in Conformation.  They do not have breeding rights and must be spayed or neutered), shot record, puppy gift pack, and our puppy guarantee.  For an additional fee, you can get FULL AKC registration (breeding rights).

     Our dogs are part of our families and live in our homes with us.  We feel that keeping a dog in a kennel all the time deprives both the dog and owner of the love and attention they both deserve.  We have found that dogs kept in kennels are shy and scared and do not contribute as much love and affection as a family home raised pet does.  We breed for both temperament and disposition.  A cocker should be a joy to be with, not a hassle and a nightmare.

     Mayberry Cockers puppies are well socialized and are exposed to other family pets (cats, dogs, cattle, ect) but most of all to children.  Cocker Spaniels love kids and tend to thrive around them.  The LOVE we give them and the Love they give in return can not be matched. The day these Cocker puppies arrive it’s always been and will be an exciting time for us.
